Artist's Outreach- The Foundry, A Creative Workshop
Learn about the creative possibilities available at The Foundry Workshop and enjoy some great food at Kingdom Taproom!
You are invited to join us for hors d'œuvres at Kingdom Taproom in Saint Johnsbury VT, sponsored by The Foundry Workshop, the NEK's community based makerspace in Lyndon Center, VT. As part of our organization's mission of economic development, we are reaching out to the creative community in our area. We would like to see how we can work together to further your creative enterprises.
At The Foundry Workshop, there is an extensive array of equipment that can be used for creative work. It includes woodworking, metalworking and welding equipment. In addition, there are 3D printers, a small but developing jewelry studio, and an electronics lab that can be used in the creation of animatronics and LED lighted projects, among many others. Our laser cutter/etcher is capable of cutting wood, leather, paper, cardboard and some plastics, while it can etch all of these materials plus some metals and glass. We are in the process of building a furnace for small metal casting projects. We have also just ordered a vinyl cutter for making stencils, masks, and signs. All of this equipment opens up a wide range of creative possibilities.
Please join us at Kingdom Taproom on Tuesday, November 28th at 6:00 PM for hors d'œuvres and a brief presentation about our organization. If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call Justin at 802-723-6184. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing from you.
